Primaries and Caucuses

The 2024 United States presidential primaries and caucuses will be a series of elections held by the Democratic and Republican parties to select their nominees for president of the United States in the 2024 United States presidential election. The primaries and caucuses will begin in early 2024 and will conclude in June 2024. The Democratic and Republican National Conventions will be held in July and August 2024, respectively, to formally nominate their candidates for president.

Each state will hold its own primary or caucus, and the results of these elections will determine how many delegates each candidate receives. The candidate who receives the most delegates at the Democratic National Convention will be the Democratic nominee for president.
