Bomb Threat at Rostock and Osnabrück Central Stations
Rostock Central Station Evacuated After Bomb Threat
On Tuesday morning, Rostock Central Station was evacuated following a bomb threat. Police received a call around 10:30 a.m. about a suspicious object on a train. The station was immediately evacuated, and a bomb squad was called to the scene.
The bomb squad examined the object and determined that it was not a bomb. The station was reopened around 12:30 p.m., and train traffic resumed.
Osnabrück Central Station Also Evacuated After Bomb Threat
Around the same time as the Rostock bomb threat, Osnabrück Central Station was also evacuated after a bomb threat. Police received a call around 11:00 a.m. about a suspicious package in the station. The station was evacuated, and a bomb squad was called to the scene.
The bomb squad examined the package and determined that it was not a bomb. The station was reopened around 1:00 p.m., and train traffic resumed.
No Injuries Reported in Either Incident
There were no injuries reported in either incident. Police are investigating both threats, and no arrests have been made at this time.
