Bomb Threat Closes Rostock Train Station

A bomb threat forced the evacuation of Rostock's main train station on Saturday, causing major disruptions to rail traffic in the region. Deutsche Bahn, the German national railway company, canceled all trains to and from the station and evacuated passengers and staff.
The threat was received by police at around 10:30 a.m. local time. A caller claimed to have planted a bomb in the station. Police immediately deployed bomb disposal experts and sniffer dogs to search the station.
The evacuation was completed by 11:30 a.m. and no suspicious devices were found. A suspect was arrested in connection with the threat and is currently in police custody.
Deutsche Bahn has resumed train services to and from Rostock, but delays are expected throughout the day. Passengers are advised to check with the company's website or app for the latest information.
There were no injuries reported in the incident. The motive for the threat is currently unknown.
