BPOL-BadBentheim: Evacuation after bomb threat against Osnabrück main station

Osnabrück main station was evacuated on Tuesday evening after a bomb threat. The police searched the station with sniffer dogs, but no suspicious objects were found. The evacuation was lifted after about two hours.

A spokesman for the federal police said that the threat was received by e-mail at around 6:30 p.m. The e-mail stated that a bomb had been placed in the station. The police immediately evacuated the station and cordoned off the area.
