There is something I have been wrestling with a lot lately. Most of you who have been following my career know that I’m involved in politics and that I am a Democrat. However, I’m also a Christian. I think both of those things are important to understanding where I am coming from with this piece.

I’m not going to lie, folks, I am feeling pretty discouraged lately. I’m discouraged by the state of our country and the state of our politics. I see so much division and hatred. I see people on both sides of the aisle who are so quick to resort to name-calling and insults. I see people who are so quick to judge and condemn others. And I see people who are so quick to give up on hope.

I know that this is not going to be easy. But I believe that it is possible. I believe that we can overcome the challenges that we face if we work together. And I believe that we can build a better future for our children.

So let us choose hope over despair, unity over division. Let us come together as a country and work together to solve the problems that we face. Let us build a better future for our children.

I know that this is a difficult time, but I believe that we can get through it together. If we work together, we can overcome the challenges that we face and build a better future for our children.
