What to Expect and How to Prepare
The 2024 Florida primary election will be held on Tuesday, March 19, 2024. This election will determine the Republican and Democratic nominees for president, as well as other state and local offices.
All registered voters in Florida are eligible to vote in the primary election. Early voting will begin on Monday, March 4, 2024, and end on Saturday, March 16, 2024.
On Election Day, polls will be open from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Voters can find their polling place by visiting the Florida Division of Elections website.

How to Prepare for the Election
There are a few things you can do to prepare for the 2024 Florida primary election:
- Register to vote. You can register to vote online, by mail, or in person at your local Supervisor of Elections office.
- Check your voter registration status. You can check your voter registration status online or by calling your local Supervisor of Elections office.
- Find your polling place. You can find your polling place by visiting the Florida Division of Elections website.
- Learn about the candidates and the issues. There are a number of resources available to help you learn about the candidates and the issues. You can read candidate websites, watch debates, and attend candidate forums.
- Make a plan to vote. Decide how you are going to vote (in person, by mail, or early voting) and make sure you have everything you need to vote.
