Mark Your Calendars: Gators Set for Another Exciting Season

The Florida Gators released their 2024 football schedule, which features a challenging slate of opponents both in and out of conference play. The Gators will open their season at home against the UCF Knights on August 31, 2024. They will then hit the road to face the Michigan Wolverines on September 7th.

Florida's home schedule also includes games against the Georgia Bulldogs (September 21st), LSU Tigers (October 12th), and Vanderbilt Commodores (November 23rd). The Gators will also travel to face the Kentucky Wildcats (September 28th), South Carolina Gamecocks (October 5th), Missouri Tigers (October 26th), and Ole Miss Rebels (November 9th).

The Gators will have a bye week on November 2nd before closing out the regular season at home against the Florida State Seminoles on November 30th. Florida will be looking to improve upon their 6-7 record from the 2023 season and return to contention in the SEC East.

Key Matchups

• Florida vs. Michigan (September 7th): This will be the first meeting between the two schools since 2019. The Gators won that game 41-15.
• Florida vs. Georgia (September 21st): The annual rivalry game between the Gators and Bulldogs is always one of the most anticipated games of the season. Florida has won two of the last three meetings.
• Florida vs. LSU (October 12th): The Gators and Tigers will meet for the first time since 2021. LSU won that game 49-42.
• Florida vs. Florida State (November 30th): The Gators will close out the regular season with their annual rivalry game against the Seminoles. Florida has won two of the last three meetings.
