Florida State Football 2024 Schedule Released
Seminoles to Face Four Power Five Opponents
Florida State's 2024 football schedule has been released, and the Seminoles will face four Power Five opponents during the regular season.
FSU will open the season at home against FCS opponent Duquesne on Aug. 31, 2024. The Seminoles will then travel to face LSU in Baton Rouge on Sept. 7.
Florida State's other two Power Five opponents are Georgia Tech (Sept. 21) and Miami (Nov. 2). The Seminoles will also face Troy (Sept. 14), South Carolina (Oct. 5), Louisville (Oct. 12), Boston College (Oct. 26), and Virginia (Nov. 9).
The Seminoles will have six home games and six road games in 2024. FSU will open the season with three straight home games before hitting the road for two straight games. The Seminoles will then alternate home and road games for the rest of the season.
Florida State is coming off a 10-3 season in 2023, and the Seminoles are hoping to build on that success in 2024. FSU has a talented roster returning, led by quarterback Jordan Travis and running back Trey Benson.
The Seminoles will be looking to make a statement in 2024, and they will have a chance to do so with a challenging schedule. FSU will face four Power Five opponents, including two road games against LSU and Georgia Tech.
If the Seminoles can navigate their tough schedule, they have a chance to be a contender in the ACC in 2024.
