Voters should kill Amendment 2 in Florida

Floridians should vote no on Amendment 2 to protect the environment and our quality of life

Voters should reject Amendment 2 because it would:

• Give special interests, not voters, the power to decide environmental policy.
• Make it harder to regulate polluters and protect our air and water.
• Allow the expansion of drilling and fracking, threatening our drinking water and coastlines.

Amendment 2 is a deceptive attempt by special interests to strip Floridians of their right to protect our environment.

The amendment would create a new “Environmental Bill of Rights” that would give special interests, not voters, the power to decide environmental policy.

This would make it harder to regulate polluters and protect our air and water.

Amendment 2 would also allow the expansion of drilling and fracking, threatening our drinking water and coastlines.
