The 2022 midterm elections are just around the corner, and it's important to be prepared to vote.
In Pennsylvania, there are a number of things you can do to make sure you're ready to vote on Election Day, November 8, 2022.
First, you need to make sure you are registered to vote. You can check your registration status online or by calling your county election office.
If you are not registered to vote, you can register online or by mail
The deadline to register to vote in Pennsylvania is October 24, 2022.
Once you are registered to vote, you need to decide how you want to vote. You can vote in person on Election Day, or you can vote by mail. If you choose to vote by mail, you need to request a mail-in ballot from your county election office.
The deadline to request a mail-in ballot is November 1, 2022.
If you are voting in person on Election Day
Make sure you know where your polling place is. You can find your polling place online.
On Election Day, be sure to bring a photo ID with you. You can find a list of acceptable forms of photo ID here.
If you are voting by mail
Be sure to request your mail-in ballot early. The deadline to request a mail-in ballot is November 1, 2022.
Once you receive your mail-in ballot, be sure to fill it out and return it to your county election office by 8:00 PM on Election Day.
