Breaking News: Incumbent Judge-Executive Chris Steffen loses reelection bid to challenger Matt Katz
In a major upset, challenger Matt Katz has defeated incumbent Judge-Executive Chris Steffen in the 2024 NKY General Election.
With all precincts reporting, Katz led by a margin of 52% to 48%.
Steffen, a Republican, has served as Judge-Executive since 2019. Katz, a Democrat, is a former Kenton County Commissioner.

In the race for Boone County Judge-Executive, incumbent Republican Gary Moore defeated Democratic challenger Kim Blankenship by a margin of 53% to 47%.
