The Primaries

The Florida primary elections will be held on Tuesday, August 27, 2024. All registered voters in Florida are eligible to vote in the primaries, regardless of party affiliation.

The following candidates have qualified for the Republican primary:

• Ron DeSantis (incumbent)
• Nikki Fried
• Charlie Crist

The following candidates have qualified for the Democratic primary:

• Val Demings
• Annette Taddeo

The General Election

The general election will be held on Tuesday, November 5, 2024. The winner of each party's primary will face off in the general election.

How to Vote

There are several ways to vote in Florida:

• In person on Election Day
